agreement with the people represented by Senator Schmitt and Senator Fisher would be like words written in sand. They don't have any meaning. You make agreements, you try to get people to shift their position in order to obtain an advantage and if the advantage is once obtained by causing one side to shift its position, then youturnaround and violate your word and your agreement so that you can have what you consider the best of both worlds. It might work once. It might even work twice, but this is a long legislative session, not in terms of days, but in terms of what it is that different groups are going to try to achieve and the anxiety they may feel if they see those desires being frustrated because their representatives cannot be trusted. More is at stake here than adding two additional commissioners to the Game and Parks Commission. The way I view it is as an issue of principle.
