In August 2006, the Development Services Division commenced discussions with the Brandon School Division administrative staff with regards to an exchange of lands at a potential school site on Maryland Avenue east of 9th Street (see attached map – Schedule B to the Agreement). The purpose of the land exchange is to secure a 75’ wide utility corridor along the south side of the School Division lands to accommodate drainage requirements and to install the sanitary sewer lines from the 9th Street and Maryland traffic circle to the new wastewater pumping station south of Crocus Plains School at 1st Street.
