The University is a “Data Controller” as defined under Section 1 of The Data Protection Act 2018 (the “Act”). In terms of Schedule 1 Part II of the Act, in the event that a Data Controller allows a third party to process data in possession of the Data Controller there requires to be an agreement in writing between the parties.
