This Property Tax Sharing Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into and effective , 2024 (“Effective Date”), between the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District (“SMMUSD”), representing the interests of the future Santa Monica Unified School District (“SMUSD”), and the City of Malibu (“Malibu”), representing the interests of the future Malibu Unified School District (“MUSD”), hereinafter referred to as the “Parties”, and with respect to the following Recitals, which are incorporated by reference into this Agreement.
