This QIPP Participation (Agreement) is entered into between Iowa Medicaid, a part of the Iowa Department of Human Services and the non-state government owned nursing facility INSERT FIELD FOR PROVIDER NAME (Provider). It establishes an intergovernmental transfer of funds (IGT) to Iowa Medicaid from the Provider in order to provide the non-federal share of the difference between the Medicaid per diem rate and the estimated reimbursement using Medicare payment principles provided to Medicaid members.
