Aquila Resources Limited (ASX:AQA “the Company” or “Aquila”) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Washpool Coal Pty Ltd (“Washpool”) has signed a Rail Transportation Agreement with QR National. This is a 10 year contract for the transport of up to 1.6 million tonnes per annum (“Mtpa”) of coal from the Washpool Hard Coking Coal Project to the new Wiggins Island Coal Export Terminal (“WICET”) at the Port of Gladstone.
