AMENDMENT NO. 1, dated as of September 11, 2006 (“Amendment No. 1”), to the AGREEMENT AND PLAN OF MERGER, dated as of July 23, 2006 (the “Merger Agreement”), by and among Lexington Corporate Properties Trust (the “Company”) and Newkirk Realty Trust, Inc.
