This 29 Basis Point Expense Contract, dated as of August 1, 2017 (the “Agreement”), is made and entered into by and between Fidelity Salem Street Trust, a Massachusetts business trust which may issue one or more series of shares of beneficial interest (the “Trust”), on behalf of Fidelity Emerging Markets Index Fund (the “Fund”), and Fidelity Management & Research Company, a Massachusetts corporation (the “Manager”).
