The Agreement signed by the Mizoram People Forum (MPF) and political parties in Mizoram for a clean, free and fair election in various the political elections in 2008, still valid today, has yielded positive results. The conduct of elections in Mizoram has become a role model for other states of the country which is the result of the cohesive efforts of the people of Mizoram.
