Congratulations on your decision to continue enrollment in the band program. The work that you accomplish in your 8th grade band class at Lunsford will shine on a level of high visibility in your community! Our product will be judged critically by others at every local performance and regional festivals in which we perform. As members of this school’s seventh 8th grade class, your challenge will be to carry forward the accomplishments of the past 8th Grade Bands whose superior level of performance earned our school three Virginia Blue Ribbon Music Awards.
