Welcome back to a brand new school year!!! I am absolutely thrilled to be welcoming all new incoming choir members as well as welcoming back returning members for the 2013-2014 school year. Every year in the music department is an adventure and never the same. Last spring the DHS made many extraordinary memories as we cruised to Bermuda. We sang aboard the Explorer of the seas and our scores ranked extremely high among other choirs across the nation. I know I will certainly never forget this amazing experience. As we move into a new school year with new members and new music I so look forward to building our choir family and making new fantastic memories!

This year we will prepare music to perform and tour Virginia for the annual Azalea Festival. Not only will we have the opportunity to perform at our highest level, but also have a little bit of fun in our spare time! Trips are always an exciting time in the music department and really enable our group to further bond and grow! I hope that you will all be able to join us this year!
