The University of Notre Dame du Lac (henceforth, “UND”) owns copyright of the collection of biometric images and serves as the source for the database distributed to participants in the 3D Twins Expression Challenge (henceforth, the “3DTEC database”).

The Paris Lodron University of Salzburg Contact-Less Hand and Finger Vein Database (PLUSVein-Contactless) consists of near-infrared laser light transmission illuminated finger vein images as well as near-infrared LED illuminated hand vein images, captured from the palmar side of the finger/hand. The used capturing device to acquire this database is our combined fully contact-less finger and hand vein scanner device (http://www.wavelab.at/sources/Kauba19c). Six fingers (right and left index, middle and ring finger) and both hands per subject have been captured. It is made publicly available for research and non-commercial purposes in order to stimulate and support the research in the area of finger-vein recognition. The Wavelab Group at the University of Salzburg, Salzburg, AUSTRIA (henceforth, PLUS) owns the copyright of this database and is responsible for the distribution of the database.
