Persons using a school district owned computer, or school district provided Internet access, have no expectation of privacy in any aspect of their computer use or Internet access. This includes email. Email and computer use are subject to surveillance, monitoring, and inspection by the school district at any time without advance notice or permission. Email and computer use records may also be subject to public disclosure under applicable open records laws.
