Acceptable Waste definition

Acceptable Waste means ordinary household, municipal, institutional, commercial and industrial Solid Waste including, but not limited to, the following:
Acceptable Waste means Mixed Municipal Solid Waste that meets the requirements of the Facility as determined by the City and consistent with City and County solid waste ordinances, but specifically excludes Unacceptable Waste.
Acceptable Waste means waste that is acceptable at the R&E Center in Newport, Minnesota. It includes any type of Solid Waste that has been designated by County ordinance and which is not otherwise Unacceptable Waste.

  • The County shall compact through hydraulic compaction or backhoe compaction Acceptable Waste accepted at County Transfer Stations prior to storing at the Receiving Facility.

  • The Contractor and the County agree that nothing contained in this Contract shall be construed to prevent the County from establishing diversion programs that, recycles, composts, or otherwise diverts all or a portion of Acceptable Waste.

  • The Contractor shall comply with Island County’s flow control regulations pursuant to applicable laws directing all Acceptable Waste generated and collected in the County to the County System.


More Definitions of Acceptable Waste

Acceptable Waste means all garbage, refuse, rubbish and other materials and substances discarded or rejected as being spent, useless, worthless or in excess to the owners at the time of such discard or rejection and which are normally disposed of by or collected from residential (single family and multi-family), commercial, industrial, governmental and institutional establishments and which are acceptable at Class III landfills under Applicable Law.
Acceptable Waste means Solid Waste, including garbage, rubbish, refuse, residue, incidental amounts of household hazardous waste as permitted by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and other discarded solid or semi-solid materials resulting from domestic, commercial, industrial, recycling, resource recovery, agricultural and governmental operations. Acceptable Waste also includes Bulk Waste, Recyclable Materials, White Goods and E-Waste. Acceptable Waste shall not include regulated Hazardous Waste, Medical Waste, Biomedical Waste, Biological Waste, and Infectious Waste.
Acceptable Waste means garbage, refuse and other Solid Waste from residential, commercial, industrial, and community activities that the Generator aggregates for collection, but does not include Unacceptable Waste.
Acceptable Waste means Waste that is acceptable at Transfer Stations and Community Recycling Centres, namely:
Acceptable Waste means waste, which is acceptable at the designated facility. Acceptable waste shall include garbage, refuse, and municipal solid waste from residential, commercial, industrial and community activities which is generated and collected in aggregate, and which is not otherwise defined herein as unacceptable waste. No amount of hazardous waste or infectious waste that is regulated by law is acceptable at the designated facility. Acceptable waste shall also include acceptable household quantities and acceptable non-household waste, as defined herein. All household waste is acceptable waste unless it is otherwise regulated or prohibited by law.
Acceptable Waste means those Solid Wastes that are not prohibited from processing or disposal as defined by the solid waste disposal Agreement between the City and the District, District Ordinance or pursuant to local, State and federal laws.
Acceptable Waste means garbage, refuse and other Solid Waste from residential, commercial, industrial, and community activities in the Designated Area that the Generator of the waste aggregates for collection and that meets the acceptance requirements of the Designated Facility, but specifically excludes Unacceptable Waste.
