Acquiring Services definition

Acquiring Services means the services provided by the Company to the Merchant under this Agreement.
Acquiring Services means both Card Acquiring Services and Alternative Acquiring Services;

Examples of Acquiring Services in a sentence

  • Merchant will not access and/or utilize the Acquiring Services for illegal purposes and will not interfere or disrupt networks connected with the Acquiring Services.

  • Under Network Rules, the Company does not own the Card account, Cardholder, personal, or other payment transaction information generated when a payment transaction is processed using the Acquiring Services.

  • For the duration of this Agreement, First Data grants the Company a personal, non- exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Gateway Services, the Gateway Software, and the Gateway Documents, strictly for the purpose of First Data's provision of Acquiring Services.

  • First Data will acquire the Company’s electronic transactions for payment organisations and networks (Networks) identified below (Acquiring Services).

  • To facilitate the processing of transactions online, First Data may provide the Company its online processing system that provides an interface for the transmission of transaction data between First Data and the Company in connection with the Acquiring Services (the Gateway Services).

Acquiring Services is that part of myPOS Service that includes the acceptance of card payments, authorisation and settlement of payments with the cards (present and not-present) with the logo of the Card Schemes via myPOS Terminal.
Acquiring Services means the services provided by Us where We act as Your Acquirer;

Acquiring Services means both (A) the processing of E-commerce Transactions and (B) the receipt and disbursement of related funds; “Applicable Law” means all laws or regulations (and including the requirements of any regulatory authority) applicable to a party or to any Transaction for the time being in force in any jurisdiction; “Assessment” means any assessment, fine, liquidated damages , fee, cost, expense or charge of any nature which a Card Scheme or Financial Institution, or any other third party levies on you or us at any time, directly or indirectly, in relation to a Service, Transaction or any other aspect of our or such third party’s relationship with you “Bank Account” means your business bank account from which Payments shall be requested by the Company via standing order or direct debit (details of which are set out on the Order Form) and Receipts shall be transferred to you; “Business Day” means a day (other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday) when banks in London are open for business; “Card” means a credit, debit, charge, purchase or other payment card under a Card Scheme whose payments we or other Financial Institutions are able to process (as notified by those Financial Institutions to the Company from time to time); “Card Scheme” means schemes governing the issue and use of Cards listed as follows, or as may be approved and notified to the Company in writing from time to time: Visa Europe, Visa Inc, MasterCard Worldwide, UK Maestro, International Maestro, American Express, China UnionPay, Diners Club International, Discover Financial Services, JCB and Laser Card; “Cardholder” means the Person who is the authorised user of a Card;
