Affected Portion definition

Affected Portion means, in respect of an Auction Covered Transaction, the portion of such Auction Covered Transaction (or, in respect of a Single Name Swaption or Portfolio Swaption, the portion of the related Underlying CDS) attributable to the Affected Reference Entity.

Affected Portion means any portion of the System that is or may: (1) be affected by a Taking; (2) become the subject of a lien or transfer; or (3) be damaged or destroyed as the result of the occurrence of an event of casualty.

Affected Portion means, with respect to an Early Conversion Event, a number of Note Hedging Units equal to the lesser of (i) the number of Convertible Notes in denominations of USD 1,000 principal amount converted on the relevant Conversion Date prior to the Cut-off Date and (ii) the Number of Note Hedging Units as of the relevant Early Termination Date.

Examples of Affected Portion in a sentence

• Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the relevant documentation, the Cash Settlement Amount (if any) in respect of the Affected Portion shall be payable on the Auction Settlement Date determined pursuant to these Credit Derivatives Auction Settlement Terms.

• Such determination shall be made as if an Early Termination Date shall be deemed to have been designated in respect of the Notional Affected Portion of this Transaction as of the Relevant Credit Event Determination Date.

More Definitions of Affected Portion

Affected Portion has the meaning given to it in Clause 6.2(c).

Affected Portion shall have the meaning provided in Section 7.2(d).

Affected Portion means being that portion of the Road needing Winter Maintenance due to active use, including any ingress or egress whatsoever by the Company in wheeled vehicles.
