Annulment definition
Annulment. With regards to checks or promissory notes that have been returned due to insufficient deposit balance, non-matching signatures, absence of paying agency arrangement, or withdrawal of payment prior to note expiry, "Annulment" refers to settling the payments written using check account balance or other alternative means, and collecting back the checks or notes that have been returned, along with detailed reasons.

Annulment or "nullity" means the act of declaring a marriage void.
