Anti-Social Forces definition

Anti-Social Forces means: (1) an organized crime group, a member of an organized crime group, a related company or association of an organized crime group, and any other equivalent person of above; or (2) a person who themselves or through the use of third parties conducts a demand with violence, an unreasonable demand beyond its legal entitlement, use of intimidating words or actions, damages the credit or obstructs the business of the other party by spreading false rumors or by the use of fraudulent, or any other equivalent actions of above.
Anti-Social Forces means any crime syndicates or Bouryokudan, crime syndicate-related companies or associations, corporate racketeer or any other antisocial forces.
Anti-Social Forces has the meaning specified in Section 4.01(v).

Examples of Anti-Social Forces in a sentence

  • If Customer is domiciled in Japan, then Customer represents and warrants that it, and its officers, directors, and material shareholders, are not: (a) Anti-Social Forces (defined below), and have not been for at least the last five years; and (b) involved with Anti-Social Forces, including, without limitation, involvement by management, utilization, or provision of funding or favors.

  • If Customer is domiciled in Japan, then Customer represents and warrants that it, and it officers, directors, and material shareholders, are not: (a) Anti-Social Forces (defined below), and have not been for at least the last five years; and (b) involved with Anti-Social Forces, including, without limitation, involvement by management, utilization, or provision of funding or favors.

  • RE/MAX JAPAN and Regional Franchisee declare the following basic policy in order to prevent damages caused by groups or individuals, so-called Anti-Social Forces ("ASF") that pursue economic benefit by making full use of violence, force and fraudulent means.

  • For the purposes of this section "Anti-Social Forces" means, collectively, an organized crime group (bouryokudan) or a member or affiliate thereof, a corporate racketeer (soukaiya), a rogue person or group advocating a social or political movement, or any other anti-social forces.

  • Neither the Investor nor any of the Investor Related Parties is supporting or involved with the Anti-Social Forces in their existence or activity by providing funds or any other acts, or associating with such Anti-Social Forces.

Anti-Social Forces means one or more persons or entities coming under any of the following items:
Anti-Social Forces means a group or individual which seeks economic benefits by using violence, oppressive power or fraudulent methods, and which falls under following (1) or (2):
Anti-Social Forces means organized crime groups, corporate racketeers and other similar organizations
Anti-Social Forces means the following:
Anti-Social Forces means: (1) an organized crime group, a member of an organized crime group, a related company or association of an organized crime group, and any other equivalent person of above; or (2) a person who themselves or through the use of third parties conducts a demand with violence, an unreasonable demand beyond its legal entitlement, use of intimidating words or actions, damages the credit or obstructs the business of the other party by spreading false rumors or by the use of fraudulent, or any other equivalent actions of above. 2. Each party represents and warrants that is not a person who has fallen and shall not fall under any of the followings: (1) the Anti-Social Forces; (2) a person having such relationship with the Anti-Social Forces that shows the Anti-Social Forces' substantial involvement in the person's management; (3) a person having such relationship with the Anti-Social Forces that shows reliance on the Anti-Social Forces; (4) a person who cooperate and is not involved with the maintenance or operation of any Anti-social Forces by providing funding to any Anti-Social Forces or any similar act; or (5) a person who is engaged in socially condemnable relationship with the Anti-Social Forces. 3. Each party shall be entitled to terminate this Agreement and request for the damages without any notice and any and all obligations of the party owed to the other party shall become due and payable and the other party shall immediately repay such obligations, if the other party breached the representations and warranties in the preceding clause.
Anti-Social Forces means, collectively: (i) criminal syndicate, (ii) criminal syndicate member, (iii) quasi- criminal syndicate member, (iv) criminal syndicate related company, (v) person who poses a threat to the safety of citizens by engaging in illegal activities through violence acts seeking unfair profit against companies and the like, (vi) person who poses a threat to the safety of citizens by disguising or advocating social movements or political activities, (vii) in addition to those listed in the preceding items, group or individual who uses unjust power based on the relationship with criminal syndicate or who have financial connection with criminal syndicate and become a key part of systemic fraud; (viii) person who has ceased to be those listed in the preceding items for a period of less than 5 years; or (ix) other group or individual equivalent to any of the preceding items.
Anti-Social Forces means persons who fall under any of the following items: (a) Any organized crime group (boryokudan) (meaning a group a member of which (including a member of such group's affiliated body) is likely to facilitate violent illegal acts or similar acts in an organized or habitual way; the same applies hereinafter); (b) Any organized crime group member (boryokudan-in) (meaning a member of an organized crime group; the same applies hereinafter) and any person for whom less than five (5) years have passed since he/she ceased to be an organized crime group member; (c) Any quasi-member of an organized crime group (boryokudan jun koseiin) (a person who is not an organized crime group member and who has a relationship with an organized crime group and is likely to perform violent unlawful acts or similar acts using the influence of the organized crime group, or a person who cooperates or is involved in the maintenance or operation of the organized crime group by supplying funds, weapons, or other means to the organized crime group or an organized crime group member; the same applies hereinafter); (d) Any corporation related to an organized crime group (boryokudan kankei kigyo) (meaning a corporation where an organized crime group member is substantially involved in its management, a corporation managed by a quasi-member or a former member of an organized crime group which actively cooperates or is involved in the maintenance or operation of an organized crime group by supplying funds to the organized crime group or other means, or a corporation which actively uses an organized crime group and cooperates in the maintenance or operation of the organized crime group in the performance of its business; the same applies hereinafter); (e) Any corporate racketeer (sokaiya) or the like (meaning a person such as a corporate racketeer (sokaiya) or a corporate extortionist (kaisha goro) who is likely to perform violent unlawful acts or similar acts in the pursuit of unjust profits against a corporation or other entity, and poses a threat to the safety of civil life; the same applies hereinafter); (f) Any group engaging in criminal activities under the pretext of conducting social campaigns, etc. (shakai undo tou hyobo goro) (meaning a person who is likely to conduct violent unlawful acts or similar acts in the pursuit of unjustifiable profits in the disguise of or under the pretext of conducting social campaigns or political activities, and poses a threat to the safety of civil...
