Assistive Devices definition

Assistive Devices means any category of durable medical equipment, mechanical apparatus, electrical appliance, or instrument of technology used to assist and enhance an individual's independence in performing any activity of daily living. Assistive devices include the use of service animals, general household items, or furniture to assist the individual.
Assistive Devices means an auxiliary aid such as communication aids, cognition aids, personal mobility aids and medical aids (i.e. canes, crutches, wheelchairs, or hearing aids).
Assistive Devices means any category of durable medical equipment, mechanical apparatus, electrical appliance, or instrument of technology, service animals, general household items, or furniture used to assist and enhance an individual's independence in performing any activity of daily living.

Examples of Assistive Devices in a sentence

  • Qualified Individuals with a Disability traveling with wheelchairs or Assistive Devices, or mobility aids will have no limit on liability for repair or replacement of such wheelchairs, Assistive Devices, or mobility aids.
