Authority Data definition

Authority Data means a) the data, text, drawings, diagrams, images or sounds (together with any database made up of any of these) which are embodied in any electronic, magnetic, optical or tangible media, and which are:

Authority Data means all data, content and information (i) submitted by or on behalf of the Authority or its customers to the Contractor or loaded into the System, (ii) obtained, developed, produced or processed by the Con- tractor or by the Application or System in connection with the Contract, or (iii) to which the Contractor has access in connection with the Contract, and all derivative versions of such data, content and information, and any derivative versions thereof, in any form or format.

Authority Data means data in any form or media which are: supplied to the Contractor by the Authority; or which the Contractor is required to generate, process, store or transmit pursuant to the Contract; or any Personal Data for which the Authority is the Data Controller.

• E1.1 The Contractor shall not delete or remove any proprietary notices contained within or relating to the Authority Data.

• The Contractor shall use the Authority Data only as necessary for the performance of its obligations under this Contract unless otherwise authorised in writing by the Authority.

• E1.2 The Contractor shall not store, copy, disclose, or use the Authority Data except as necessary for the performance by the Contractor of its obligations under this Contract or as otherwise expressly authorised in writing by the Authority.

• E1.8 If at any time the Contractor suspects or has reason to believe that the Authority Data or Personal Data has or may become corrupted, lost or sufficiently degraded in any way for any reason, then the Contractor shall notify the Authority immediately and inform the Authority of the remedial action the Contractor proposes to take.

• The Contractor acknowledges that the Authority Data is the property of the Authority and the Authority hereby reserves all Intellectual Property Rights which may subsist in the Authority Data.

More Definitions of Authority Data

Authority Data means any data supplied by the Authority, or others, in whatever format, related to the delivery of this Contract.

Authority Data means all data, content or information, in any form or format, including interim, Processed, compiled, summarized, or derivative versions of such data, content or information, and any insights that may be learned from such data, content or information, that may exist in any system, database, or record that is either (i) provided by or on behalf of the Authority or its customers to the Contractor, or (ii) is obtained, developed, produced or Processed by the Contractor or its systems, in each of (i) and (ii) in connection with the relationship or arrangements established by the Agreement, but excluding any data or information that is expressly defined as owned by the Contractor in the Agreement.
