Auxiliary Water Supply definition

Auxiliary Water Supply means any water supply on or available to the premises other than the water purveyor's approved public water supply such as, but not limited to, a private well, pond or river.

Auxiliary Water Supply means any water source or system, other than the public water supply, that may be available in the building or premises.

Auxiliary Water Supply means any water supply on, or available to, the premises other than the approved water supply.

Examples of Auxiliary Water Supply in a sentence

• Any parcel served by District water service that is determined to have an Auxiliary Water Supply, whether or not it is interconnected with the public water system, shall install a minimum of a RP.

• An Unapproved Auxiliary Water Supply includes, but is not limited to, a well, spring, pond, storage tank, or any other water source that is piped or captured in any fashion that would facilitate its use as an Unapproved Auxiliary Water Supply on the premises.

• A private water well is classified as an Auxiliary Water Supply whether or not it is interconnected with the public water system unless it is a deactivated well.

• An Unapproved Auxiliary Water Supply does not include a decorative or natural water feature that serves solely for aesthetic and/or recreational purposes and lacks piping and/or equipment that would facilitate its use as an Unapproved Auxiliary Water Supply on the premises.

• The following list of circumstances shall require a minimum of a DCV for backflow prevention and is not exclusive:• Residential premises with any Auxiliary Water Supply, whether or not it is interconnected with the public water system, except those premises with a Deactivated Well;• Parcels having more than one service connection; • Residential Premises where a cross connection exists, or the potential for one that could result in the pollution or contamination of the public water system.

More Definitions of Auxiliary Water Supply

Auxiliary Water Supply means an Approved water supply originating on the premises that is used exclusively for fire protection or irrigation and is not connected in any manner to the domestic supply system on the premises. An auxiliary supply shall be a water supply that has been developed exclusively for the purpose of either fire protection or irrigation or both. The presence of an auxiliary water supply will require the installation of a GCSD approved backflow prevention device.

Auxiliary Water Supply means any water supply on or available to the premises other than the public potable water supply, including, but not limited to, water from another purveyor’s public potable water supply, treated effluent, wastewaters or industrial fluids.

Auxiliary Water Supply means any supply of water used to augment the public water supply, which serves the premises in question.
