Available Energy definition

Available Energy of the Project Generating Stations means the energy associated with Available Power.
Available Energy means Energy that is available for sale on any given day that is in excess of the Energy required to be sold under any Existing Transactions (including by reason of the exercise of an option thereunder), up to the total amount of Energy on any day that can be produced from the Facilities.
Available Energy has the meaning set forth in Exhibit P.

  • If requested, REMC shall provide to LEE COUNTY statements evidencing the quantity of Available Energy delivered at a Point of Interconnection.

  • REMC’s obligation to pay for all Available Energy delivered prior to 12:00 p.m. on the Termination Date or on the date of a termination for convenience as set forth herein shall survive any termination of this Agreement.

  • In exercising its commercially reasonable efforts to market the Available Energy as provided herein, REMC will act as LEE COUNTY’s agent and fiduciary; and agrees not to give any preference or higher priority to the marketing of any other energy, regardless of the cost, price or profitability of any such other energy to REMC, any affiliate of REMC or any third-party.

  • In so doing, REMC shall accord “most-favored-customer” status to LEE COUNTY, thereby assuring LEE COUNTY that REMC’s efforts to market the Available Energy will be at least as diligent as REMC’s efforts to market other energy for other counter-parties.

  • LEE COUNTY is willing to compensate REMC for providing, when requested by LEE COUNTY in its sole discretion, one or more of the following services either separately from or in conjunction with a potential sale of Available Energy as further described herein: short-term marketing services; long-term marketing services; and scheduling services.


More Definitions of Available Energy

Available Energy means Nalcor Generated Energy, exclusive of New Generation Development Energy, that is excess to the Energy quantities required by Nalcor and its Affiliates to satisfy NL Native Load and the Nova Scotia Block;
