Average Manufacturer Price definition

Average Manufacturer Price. (“AMP”) shall mean the average price paid to a manufacturer by wholesalers for drugs distributed to retail pharmacies. This definition shall be consistent with the definition set forth in section 1927(k)(1) of the Social Security Act.
Average Manufacturer Price means the price reported to the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services pursuant to Section 1927 of the federal Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. Sec. 1396r-8).
Average Manufacturer Price shall have the meaning defined in the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. §1396r-8(k).
