Average Wholesale Price definition

Average Wholesale Price or “AWP” means the wholesale price charged on a specific commodity that is assigned by the drug manufacturer and is listed in a nationally-recognized drug pricing file.
Average Wholesale Price or AWP means the average wholesale price of the Covered Drug, on the date dispensed, as set forth in Medi-Span’s Master Drug Database (MDDB®) file, if available, or other nationally recognized source determined by Contractor and disclosed to the County.
