Background Screening definition

Background Screening. I understand that because I will be working in a student-based environment, I am required to undergo a background screening to ensure that I am safe to be around students. This screening may include information concerning any criminal history in which I was involved. By providing the information requested and signing below, I consent to the District conducting an applicable background screening.
Background Screening means the showing of a Film in public in accordance with Clause 2.1(b).

Examples of Background Screening in a sentence

  • In accordance with Section 402.302, Florida Statutes, as may be amended from time to time, all AGENCY staff and any volunteers assisting on an intermittent basis for more than ten (10) hours per month shall successfully complete a Level II Background Screening prior to providing any services associated with this Contract.

More Definitions of Background Screening

Background Screening. I understand that based upon my volunteer role, GVA-N will require background screening for which I will need to submit ($7). This background screening may include obtaining a report from a reporting agency that may include information concerning my criminal history.
Background Screening means a background investigation that is fingerprint-based including checks of both the state and national criminal history repositories. If a felony conviction of any kind is found, access to COPLINK shall not be granted.
Background Screening. JECO agrees to comply with all requirements of Sections 1012.32 and 1012.465, Florida Statutes, and all of its personnel who (1) are to be permitted access to school grounds when students are present, (2) will have direct contact with students, or (3) have access or control of school funds, will successfully complete the background screening required by the referenced statutes and meet the standards established by the statutes. This background screening will be conducted by SBBC in advance of JECO or its personnel providing any services under the conditions described in the previous sentence. JECO shall bear the cost of acquiring the background screening required by Section 1012.32, Florida Statutes, and any fee imposed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to maintain the fingerprints provided with respect to JECO and its personnel. The parties agree that the failure of JECO to perform any of the duties described in this section shall constitute a material breach of this Agreement entitling SBBC to terminate immediately with no further responsibilities or duties to perform under this Agreement. JECO agrees to indemnify and hold harmless SBBC, its officers and employees from any liability in the form of physical or mental injury, death or property damage resulting in JECO’s failure to comply with the requirements of this Section or with Sections 1012.32 and 1012.465, Florida Statutes.

The Parties agree that the failure of Contractor to perform any of the duties described in this section shall constitute a material breach of this Agreement entitling MCSB to terminate this Agreement immediately with no further responsibilities or duties to perform under this Agreement. Contractor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless MCSB, its officers and employees resulting from liability or claims made by any person who may suffer physical or mental injury, death or property damage resulting in the Contractor’s failure to comply with the requirements of this Section or with Sections 1012.32 and 1012.465, Florida Statutes.
Background Screening means the applicable requirements of Sections 1012.32, 1012.465, and 1012.56, Florida Statutes, as may be amended.
