Banking of RDOs. (a) Where the Employer and an Employee agree up to five RDOs may be accrued for the purpose of creating a bank to be drawn upon by the Employee at times mutually agreed. Details of such banked RDOs will be entered on to each Employee’s employment records. (b) Where there is a dispute in relation to the operation of this sub-clause and it is unable to be resolved at the workplace level, the matter will be determined in accordance with clause 10- Disputes Resolution Procedure of this Agreement.

Banking of RDOs a) Where the Employer and Employee agree up to six days RDOs in a twelve month period may be accrued for the purpose of creating a bank to be drawn upon by the Employee at times mutually agreed. Details of such banked RDOs shall be entered on to each Employee’s employment records. These RDOs may be taken as a group of consecutive days or any other combination subject to reasonably notice by an Employee.

Any RDO, in excess of the 5 RDOs accrued, not used by 31 December of that year, must be used by 31 January of the following year. (b) Where there is a dispute in relation to the operation of this sub-clause and it is unable to be resolved at the workplace level, the matter will be determined in accordance with clause 11- Disputes Resolution Procedure of this Agreement.

Where an employee requests that 3 or more RDO’s be granted in one period the employee shall give the employer one month’s notice of such request. (c) Where there is a dispute in relation to the operation of this subclause, the matter will be determined in accordance with Clause 15Disputes Resolution Procedure of this Agreement.
Banking of RDOs. 14.1 Subject to the following, RDO’s may be banked: 14.1.1 The request to bank RDO’s may come from either the employee or management or delegated officer and shall be in writing 14.1.2 The request to bank RDO’s must be based on reasonable grounds and any refusal also be on reasonable grounds 14.1.3 Reasonable notice is to be given 14.1.4 Days banked at either party’s request attract no penalty provisions, ie one day off is taken for each RDO banked 14.1.5 No more than five (5) RDO’s shall be banked without the express approval of the Chief Executive Officer
