Beneficial Occupancy definition

Beneficial Occupancy means the condition after Substantial Completion but prior to Final Completion of the Project at which time the Project, or portion thereof, is sufficiently complete and systems operational such that the Owner could, after obtaining necessary approvals and certificates, occupy and utilize the space for its intended use. Guarantees and warranties applicable to that portion of the Work begin on the date the Owner accepts the Project, or a portion thereof, for such Beneficial Occupancy, unless otherwise specified in the Supplemental General Conditions or by separate agreement.
Beneficial Occupancy means when the City takes possession of and operates the Work (or portions of the Work) for its intended purposes.
Beneficial Occupancy means HACLA’s right, at its option and convenience, to occupy or otherwise make use of all or any part of the Work, at any time prior to Substantial Completion, upon 7 days’ notice to Contractor.
