Board Certification definition

Board Certification as used herein shall mean that the relevant clinician has been fully and unconditionally certified in the specialty in which he/she conducts the majority of his/her practice (and sub-specialty, if the majority of the practice is conducted in a sub-specialty) by the appropriate board from among the American Board of Medical Specialties, American Dental Association, American Osteopathic Association, or the American Podiatric Association, as the case may be.
Board Certification means certification in one of the Member Boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists certifying boards of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). The National Board of Physicians & Surgeons (NBPAS) may be used for recertification if initial certification was granted by one of the Member Boards of the ABMS or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists certifying boards of the AOA. For podiatrists, board certification shall mean certification of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS). For dentists, board certification shall mean certification by the American Board of Oral/Maxillofacial Surgeons (ABOMS).
Board Certification means certification in a member board of the American Board of Medical Specialties, the American Board of Osteopathic Specialists, or other applicable specialty boards.

  • NCCPA reserves the right to terminate the Partner’s access to the Board Certification Status API after ninety (90) days of non-payment.

More Definitions of Board Certification

Board Certification means a certified copy of a resolution of the SpinCo Board in which the SpinCo Board, after an investigation of the facts and advice concerning the applicable law, finds and warrants to Parent that (a) following the transaction at issue, one or more Persons will not have acquired, and will not have the right to acquire, directly or indirectly, more than 40% (by vote or value) of the outstanding Equity Securities of SpinCo (determined immediately after such transaction) taking into account all relevant issuances, redemptions or other acquisitions of (and agreements to issue, redeem or otherwise acquire) Equity Securities (and assuming the exercise or conversion of all such Equity Securities (if such Equity Securities are options or warrants or similar exercisable or convertible securities) and the closing of all such agreements) from the point in time two years prior to the External Spin-Off to the date immediately following such transaction and pursuant to any other transaction which is part of a plan or series of related transactions (within the meaning of Section 355(e) of the Code) that includes the External Spin-Off, (b) SpinCo will be the surviving entity if such transaction is a merger (and the transaction is not a reverse subsidiary merger in which SpinCo is the surviving entity) and (c) the facts and conclusions contained in the resolution will be true and correct at the time the transaction at issue closes.
Board Certification means the board certification approved by the Medical Executive Committee as referenced in the applicable core privilege form for which an Applicant or Member seeks clinical privileges.

Board Certification means a certified copy of a resolution of ------------------- Subsidiary's Board of Directors in which the Board, after an investigation of the facts and advice concerning the applicable law, finds and warrants to FMC that (a) following the transaction at issue, Subsidiary or any Subsidiary Affiliate will not have issued or agreed to issued (including, for these purposes, any sale of or agreement to sell stock of Subsidiary or any Subsidiary Affiliate by FMC or any FMC Affiliate) (i) more than 40% (by vote or value), in the case of a Board Certification provided pursuant to Section 10(a)(1)(vi)(c) hereof or (ii) more than 35% (by vote or value), in the case of a Board Certification provided pursuant to Section 10(a)(1)(vi)(d) hereof, of its outstanding stock (determined immediately prior to the IPO) taking into account all issuances of (and agreements to issue) Equity Securities (and assuming the exercise of all such Equity Securities and the closing of all such agreements) from the point in time immediately prior to the IPO to the date immediately following such transaction, (b) if such transaction involves a merger, Subsidiary will be the surviving entity and the merger will not be a reverse subsidiary merger in which Subsidiary is the surviving entity and (c) the facts and conclusions contained in the resolution will be true and correct at the time the transaction at issue closes.
