Broadcast Rights definition

Broadcast Rights means any and all rights to negotiate, broadcast and disseminate by radio, television, motion picture, satellite, video tape and Internet/world wide web telecast, production, exhibition or other sound or visual exploitation of the Championships, on a live and/or delayed basis, by any means whatsoever, whether now known or hereafter developed, or to otherwise distribute and exploit the Championships and/or any portion thereof in any manner, in all forms of such media.
Broadcast Rights has the meaning set forth in Section 11(c).
Broadcast Rights means the exclusive worldwide right, on a live or delayed basis, to produce and distribute programming by means of the transmission or retransmission of electronic signals, including over-the-air VHF and UHF signals, internet or otherwise “online”, cable (basic, premium and pay-per-view), multi-channel distribution systems, wire, fiber, microwave, satellite, master antenna and direct broadcast satellite, as well as recorded visual images with or without sound, including photographs, films, videotapes and cartridges. Broadcast Rights shall also include the copyrights for any such programming or portions thereof and the exclusive right to make, use, sell and license the same for commercial or non-commercial purposes.

  • NASCAR and the NASCAR Rights Affiliate(s) shall be solely responsible for, and shall have complete discretion with respect to, the manner, extent and timing of any license, assignment, transfer or other use or exploitation of Live Broadcast Rights and Ancillary Rights, either through independent third parties, NASCAR Rights Affiliate(s) or otherwise.

  • PROMOTER acknowledges that NASCAR, as the entity conducting the Competition, exclusively and in perpetuity owns the Live Broadcast Rights and Ancillary Rights with respect to the Competition.

Broadcast Rights means the rights and other fees and arrangements relating to the production and distribution of the Events for commercial televisions, noncommercial televisions (by over-the-air, cable or otherwise), internet and other interactive media, and any other media hereinafter available whether or not within the current contemplation of the Parties, including direct sales of Advertising, radio broadcast or any other media fees and revenues, and any income attributable to such broadcasts (whether in or out of the local market).

Broadcast Rights means (a) any and all rights of Ascent Sports, Avalanche Sub or Nuggets Sub to broadcast, disseminate or publish, or to permit the broadcast, dissemination or publication of, by means of television, radio, cable, satellite or other electronic transmissions or recordings, any activities of either Franchise; (b) any and all rights to license, sell, lease, convey or otherwise transfer any of the foregoing described in CLAUSE (a); (c) any and all rights of Ascent Sports, Avalanche Sub or Nuggets Sub, pursuant to any agreement, contract, transaction or understanding, as a result of which any Person is or becomes entitled to broadcast, disseminate or publish such activities; and (d) any and all renewals and extensions of any of the foregoing and any and all amendments and supplements thereto.

Broadcast Rights shall not include transmission in terrestrial analogue means except for the Territories of Greece and Russia.
