Each Campus shall make the contact information for the DHR Administrator and Title IX Coordinator available to all members of the Campus community as well as Third Parties.
In cases involving Sexual Misconduct, Dating or Domestic Violence, or Stalking, when determining whether to go forward with an investigation, the Title IX Coordinator should consider the seriousness of the allegation(s), the age of the Complainant, whether there have been other Complaints against the Respondent, and the risk to the Campus community if the Respondent's alleged conduct remains unaddressed.
Sexual harassment threatens the legitimate expectation of all members of the Campus community that academic or employment progress is determined by the publicly stated requirements of job and classroom performance, and that the Campus environment will not unreasonably impede work or study.
The University's primary concern is the safety of the Campus community; therefore, a person who participates in investigations or proceedings involving Sexual Harassment shall not be subject to discipline for related violations of the Student Conduct Code at or near the time of the incident unless the University determines the conduct places the health and safety of another person at risk, or is otherwise egregious.
If emergency notification procedures are executed, a timely warning is not required based on the same circumstances; however, adequate follow- up information will be provided to the Campus community as needed.
