Capital Appreciation Bonds definition

Capital Appreciation Bonds means Bonds issued under this Master Indenture and any Supplemental Indenture as to which interest is compounded periodically on each of the applicable periodic dates designated for compounding and payable in an amount equal to the then-current Accreted Value only at the maturity or earlier redemption thereof, all as so designated in a Supplemental Indenture of the Issuer providing for the issuance thereof.
Capital Appreciation Bonds means any Bonds designated as such in the Certificate of Award, maturing in the years, being in the principal amounts, and having the Maturity Amounts set forth therein, and bearing interest accrued and compounded on each Interest Accretion Date and payable at maturity.
Capital Appreciation Bonds means Bonds, the interest on which (i) is compounded and accumulated at the rates and on the dates set forth in the Supplemental Indenture authorizing the issuance of such Bonds and designating them as Capital Appreciation Bonds, and (ii) is payable upon maturity or prior redemption of such Bonds.

More Definitions of Capital Appreciation Bonds

Capital Appreciation Bonds means Bonds of any Series, all or a portion of the interest on which is compounded, accumulated and payable only upon redemption or on the maturity date of such Bonds; provided that if so provided in the Series Resolution authorizing their issuance, Bonds may be deemed to be Capital Appreciation Bonds for only a portion of their term. On the date on which Bonds no longer are Capital Appreciation Bonds, they shall be deemed outstanding in a principal amount equal to their Accreted Value.
Capital Appreciation Bonds means the Bonds the interest component of which is compounded semiannually on each February 1 and August 1, commencing August 1, 2015 (unless otherwise provided in the Purchase Contract) to maturity as shown in the table of Accreted Values for such Bonds in the Official Statement or Purchase Contract, as the case may be.
