Card Transactions definition

Card Transactions means any payment made for goods or services, cash withdrawals from a bank or financial institution (including ATM withdrawals) or transfer of funds made through the use of the Card or the Card number.

Card Transactions means any use of the card or card number to make or authorise payments to retailers or the use of the card and PIN in cash machines or otherwise to obtain cash or to make contactless transactions.

Card Transactions means the value of all purchases of goods or services and of all cash withdrawals by use of the card.

Examples of Card Transactions in a sentence

• For the avoidance of doubt, the amount placed on hold in respect of any Card Transaction shall not be treated as conclusive of the amount of the Card Transaction that would eventually be debited to the Account and in particular, for Card Transactions denominated in a currency other than Ringgit Malaysia it shall not be assumed that the Bank has converted the Card Transaction amount into Ringgit Malaysia on the day that the amount was placed on hold.

• Such changes shall apply to all unpaid finance charges, fees, Cash Advances, costs and Card Transactions.

• Liability for Unauthorized Mastercard Debit Card Transactions on Debit Cards Issued to Businesses.

• All Card Transactions affected in currencies other than Sri Lankan Rupees will be debited to the Card Account after conversion into Sri Lankan Rupees at a rate of exchange determined by the exchange rate adopted by the relevant payment card organization on the date of conversion, plus an additional percentage levied by the Bank and any transaction fee(s) charged by the relevant payment card organization to the Bank.

• To protect your account, you will be provided a personal identification number ("PIN") however you may change it when you activate your card, which must be used on all automated teller machine ("ATM") Transactions and point-of-sale ("POS") Card Transactions.

More Definitions of Card Transactions

Card Transactions means any Transactions undertaken by using the Debit Card with or without use of the Security Code or signature, regardless of any slip or other voucher signed by the Cardholder(s).

Card Transactions means any payment made or cash advance obtained by the use of the card, the Card Number or in any other manner authorized by a Cardholder for debit to the Card Account.

Card Transactions means any Financial or Non-financial Transactions by using the Card with or without use of the PIN or signature, regardless of any slip or other voucher signed by the Cardholder.

Card Transactions means the purchase of goods or the obtaining of cash or the provision of services and generally all the facilities, which the Bank provides and/or will continue to provide or will introduce in the future, either through its staff or via the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) or merchant terminals or other terminals either through computers, computerised or electronic systems, or the Internet or through any other electronic system whatsoever.

Card Transactions means transactions entered into by the Customer which relate to:

Card Transactions means any purchase of goods and/or services, balance transfers or any cash advance effected by the use of the Card or Card Account Number or the Card Account or any transaction (including without limitation Virtual Card Transaction) effected pursuant to the service we provide under this Agreement, and all charges, fees and interest whether the same is authorized by the Cardholder or not.

Card Transactions means all Retail Transactions and of all Balance Transfers, Cash Advances, Instalment Payment Plans, and other credit plans granted and effected by the use of the Credit Card-i or any other mode of utilisation of the Credit Card-i as determined by the Bank from time to time.
