Certificate for Payment definition

Certificate for Payment means a written certificate executed by the Authority indicating the amount that the Trade Contractor is entitled to be paid in connection with each Trade Contractor Application for Payment.
Certificate for Payment means each certificate, in the form prescribed in Section 6.4 of these General Conditions, issued by Design Professional subsequent to an Application for Payment and in accordance with the Contract Documents evidencing the amount of the Contract Sum then due to Contractor.
Certificate for Payment means the amount approved for payment by the Project Manager after the receipt of the Contractor’s Application for Payment, as more fully defined in paragraph 9.4.1.

  • The Architect's final Certificate for Payment will constitute a further representation that the Contractor has fulfilled the conditions entitling him or her to final payment as set forth in Subparagraph 9.9.2 of these General Conditions.

More Definitions of Certificate for Payment

Certificate for Payment means the certificate of the Architect given from time to time in accordance with the terms and provisions of Section 6 hereof to fully or partially approve any progress payments requested in a Contractor Payment Request.
Certificate for Payment means a certificate substantially in the form of Exhibit A hereto and executed by a Person approved by the City Representative that is delivered to the City Representative and the Trustee specifying the amount of work performed and the Costs thereof, and requesting payment for such Costs from money on deposit in the Project Fund as further described in Section 6.5 of this Indenture.

Certificate for Payment has the meaning set forth in Section 9.2.
Certificate for Payment means each certificate, in the form prescribed in the Agreement, issued by Owner Parties subsequent to an Application for Payment and in accordance with the Contract Documents evidencing the amount of the Contract Sum then due to Contractor.
Certificate for Payment means the form signed by Owner’s Representative attesting to the Contractor's right to receive payment for certain completed portions of the Work in accordance with Article 9.
