For avoidance of doubt and by way of illustration, the Parties agree that if the amount assigned to Major Xxxxxxx is reduced from Rs. 100 crore to Rs. 80 crore owing to Change of Scope or withdrawal of work, the reduction in payment shall be restricted to relevant payments for Major Bridges only and the payment due in respect of all other stage payments under the item Major Bridges shall not be affected in any manner.
The Parties further agree that the adjustments arising out of the aforesaid modifications shall be carried out in a manner that the impact of such modifications is restricted to the said Change of Scope or withdrawal, as the case may be, and does not alter the payments due for and in respect of items or stage payments which do not form part of such Change of Scope or withdrawal.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Parties expressly agree that, subject to the provisions of Clause 13.4.2, the Contract Price shall be increased or decreased, as the case may be, on account of Change of Scope.
Payment for Change of Scope shall be made in accordance with the payment schedule specified in the Change of Scope Order.
Any such Change of Scope shall be made and valued in accordance with the provisions of this Article 13.
