Chapter 11 Cases definition

Chapter 11 Cases means (a) when used with reference to a particular Debtor, the case pending for that Debtor under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code in the Bankruptcy Court and (b) when used with reference to all the Debtors, the procedurally consolidated chapter 11 cases pending for the Debtors in the Bankruptcy Court.
Chapter 11 Cases has the meaning set forth in the recitals to this Agreement.
Chapter 11 Cases means the cases commenced under chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code by the Debtors in the Bankruptcy Court.

Examples of Chapter 11 Cases in a sentence

  • If a Holder of a Claim Files or submits a Proof of Claim in the Chapter 11 Cases, such Claim shall be considered objected to and Disputed without further action by the Debtors, and the Holder electing to File such Claim shall be deemed to have consented to the jurisdiction of the Bankruptcy Court for all purposes with respect to the Claim.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, each Insurer is prohibited and enjoined from denying, refusing, altering, or delaying coverage on any basis regarding or related to the Chapter 11 Cases or the Plan, including the treatment set out herein for any insured claim or Causes of Action.
