City Events definition

City Events. – means events funded or organized by the City or Members of Council, including events that may be jointly organized with community organizations or with external sponsors. City events include, but are not limited to: community meetings and consultations; parks, recreation or cultural facility openings or celebrations; and Community Environment Days. Events organized by City agencies and corporations are not considered City events for the purpose of this policy.

More Definitions of City Events

City Events means events and/or programs that are coordinated by City staff, which may or may not be in cooperation with local organizations, with City funds, and for which all revenues generated from the events and/or programs are returned to the City’s general fund. City Events include, but are not limited to, Rock the Block, July 4th Parade, Fall Festival, Derby Q, Festival of Lights and Carols, Chocolate Lover’s Festival, Hometown Holiday Market, Hometown Thursdays, Sundays in the Park, Kidz Korner, and other events and/or programs that may be established as City Events (or the equivalent) in the City Code or as designated by the City Council from time to time.

City Events is defined in the Arena Agreement. "City Minor Event" is defined in Section 1.2 "Claim" is defined in Section 13.3.

City Events means all City-sponsored events at the Ballpark, scheduled in accordance with Section 4.5 hereof.

City Events means events hosted or sponsored by the City and for which the City has second priority to use the Property, as detailed in Section 7(c).
