Co-opted Trustee definition

Co-opted Trustee means a (non-member) charity trustee appointed by the board under clauses 100 and 101.
Co-opted Trustee means a Trustee co-opted to the Board in accordance with Article 3.5;
Co-opted Trustee means a (non-member) charity trustee appointed by the board under clauses 98 to 99.

  • A Co-opted Trustee who has served consecutive periods in office totalling nine years must take a break from office and may not be reappointed for three years from date of the commencement of his/her break from office.

More Definitions of Co-opted Trustee

Co-opted Trustee means a person who is appointed to be a trustee by being co-opted by trustees who have not themselves been so appointed. The trustees may not co-opt an employee of the academy trust as a co-opted trustee if thereby the number of trustees who are employees of the academy trust would exceed one third of the total number of trustees including the chief executive officer to the extent he or she is a trustee.
