Collateral Investments definition

Collateral Investments means any investment instrument, as agreed upon in writing by Bank and Customer from time to time, in which Collateral and Proceeds may be invested under this Agreement.
Collateral Investments has the meaning specified in Section 5 hereof.
Collateral Investments means (1) U.S. Government securities, such as bills, notes and bonds issued by the U.S. Treasury; (2) investment companies registered under the 1940 Act that invest in high-quality securities; and/or (3) corporate debt securities, such as commercial paper and other short-term unsecured promissory notes issued by businesses that are rated investment grade or determined by the Adviser to be of comparable quality. For these purposes, “investment grade” is defined as investments with a rating at the time of purchase in one of the four highest categories of at least one nationally recognized statistical rating organizations (e.g., BBB- or higher from S&P Global Ratings or Baa3 or higher from Moody’s Investors Service, Inc.).

Examples of Collateral Investments in a sentence

  • Interest and proceeds that are not invested or reinvested in Collateral Investments as provided above shall be deposited and held in the Collateral Account.

  • The Collateral Agent is not at any time under any duty to advise or make any recommendation for the purchase, sale, retention or disposition of the Collateral Investments.

  • Customer's uninvested Collateral and Proceeds and Collateral Investments shall be held in the Collateral Account.

  • Any such proceeds that the Pledgor directs the Collateral Agent in writing not to reinvest in Collateral Investments shall be held in the Collateral Account.

  • Interest and proceeds that are not invested or reinvested in Collateral Investments as provided above shall be deposited and held in the Cash Collateral Account.


More Definitions of Collateral Investments

Collateral Investments means all Collateral, Investments, Securities, books, records and other property held by Existing Agent on behalf of Client.
