Collective Work definition

Collective Work means a work, such as a periodical issue, anthology or encyclopedia, in which the Work in its entirety in unmodified form, along with a number of other contributions, constituting separate and independent works in themselves, are assembled into a collective whole. A work that constitutes a Collective Work will not be considered a Derivative Work (as defined below) for the purposes of this License.

Examples of Collective Work in a sentence

  • New certificates of insurance are subject to the approval of the Department and the Subrecipient agrees no Collective Work or services will be commenced or performed prior to obtaining such approval.

  • The Subrecipient shall remain fully obligated under the provisions of this Agreement notwithstanding its designation of any third party or parties for the undertaking of all or any part of the Collective Work with respect to which assistance is being provided under this Agreement to the Subrecipient.

  • Each time You distribute or publicly digitally perform the Work or a Collective Work, the Licensor offers to the recipient a license to the Work on the same terms and conditions as the license granted to You under this License.

  • Collective Work – the scope of work required of the Subrecipient as set forth in section 3 of Exhibit A, and the scope of work required of an Approved Project(s) as set forth in its Notice(s) to Proceed.

Collective Work means the Work in its entirety in unmodified form along with a number of other separate and independent works, assembled into a collective whole.
