Combined Debt Service definition
Combined Debt Service means, for any period, the sum of (i) regularly scheduled payments of principal and interest of the Consolidated Businesses paid during such period and (ii) the portion of the regularly scheduled payments of principal and interest of Minority Holdings allocable to the Borrower in accordance with GAAP, paid during such period, in each case including participating interest expense and excluding balloon payments of principal and extraordinary interest payments and net of amortization of deferred costs associated with new financings or refinancings of existing Indebtedness.
Combined Debt Service means, for any period, the sum of (a) Debt Service, and (b) Mezzanine Debt Service.

Examples of Combined Debt Service in a sentence
As of the first day of each fiscal quarter for the immediately preceding consecutive four fiscal quarters, the ratio of Combined EBITDA to Combined Debt Service shall not be less than 1.50 to 1.00.
As of the last day of any fiscal quarter, the ratio of (1) Combined EBITDA to (2) Combined Debt Service (each for the twelve (12)-month period ending on such last day of such quarter), to be less than 1.50 to 1.00.
As of the first day of each fiscal quarter for the immediately preceding consecutive four fiscal quarters, the ratio of Combined EBITDA to Combined Debt Service shall not be less than 1.60 to 1.00.
Borrower acknowledges that it shall be reasonable for Lender to disapprove any proposed terms for renewal of the Deckers Lease if, after giving effect to any such proposed terms, the Property and the Other Property would not satisfy, on a pro forma basis, both (1) a Combined Debt Service Coverage Ratio of at least 1.60:1.00, and (2) a Combined Debt Yield Ratio of at least twelve percent (12%).
For any calendar quarter, the ratio of (1) Combined EBITDA to (2) Combined Debt Service (each for such quarter and annualized, i.e., multiplied by four (4)), to be less than 2.00 to 1.00.

Combined Debt Service means, for any period of time, (1) Borrower’s share of total debt service (including principal) paid or payable by Borrower and its Consolidated Businesses during such period (other than (x) debt service on construction loans until completion of the relevant construction and other capitalized interest and (y) the amortization of financing fees paid in a prior period) plus a deemed annual capital expense charge of $150 per apartment unit owned by Borrower or its Consolidated Businesses plus (2) Borrower’s beneficial interest in total debt service (including principal) paid or payable by the UJVs during such period (other than (x) debt service on construction loans until completion of the relevant construction and other capitalized interest and (y) the amortization of financing fees paid in a prior period) plus a deemed annual capital expense charge of $150 per apartment unit owned by the UJVs plus (3) preferred dividends and distributions paid or payable by Borrower and its Consolidated Businesses during such period plus (4) non-cash interest expense with respect to convertible debt of the Borrower and its Consolidated Businesses during such period. For the avoidance of doubt, Combined Debt Service shall not include (1) principal repayment at maturity of existing financings, (2) principal payments resulting from refinancing, condemnation, hazard insurance or other loan payoffs, (3) imposition deposits, real estate taxes, insurance or other lender-held escrow amounts, (4) swap settlements, or (5) prepayment penalties for prepayment of financings prior to maturity.

Combined Debt Service means the aggregate annual debt service obligation on all outstanding Authority Bonds and State Bonds of 2002 scheduled to become due in any particular Fiscal Year.
