Common Unit definition

Common Unit means a common unit representing a limited partner interest in the Partnership having the rights set forth in the Partnership Agreement.
Common Unit means a Unit designated as a “Common Unit” and having the rights and obligations specified with respect to the Common Units in this Agreement.
Common Unit has the meaning set forth in the Partnership Agreement.

Examples of Common Unit in a sentence

  • No Common Unit Certificate shall be valid for any purpose until it has been countersigned by the Transfer Agent; provided, however, that if the General Partner elects to issue Common Units in global form, the Common Unit Certificates shall be valid upon receipt of a certificate from the Transfer Agent certifying that the Common Units have been duly registered in accordance with the directions of the Partnership.

  • Available Cash that is deemed to be Capital Surplus shall then be distributed (A) to the General Partner in accordance with its Percentage Interest and (B) to all Unitholders holding Common Units, Pro Rata, a percentage equal to 100% less the General Partner’s Percentage Interest, until there has been distributed in respect of each Common Unit then Outstanding an amount equal to the Cumulative Common Unit Arrearage.

More Definitions of Common Unit

Common Unit means a security of the Trust representing a proportionate share of the Beneficial Interest having the rights and obligations specified with respect to a Common Unit in this Agreement. The term “Common Unit” does not refer to or include any Subordinated Unit prior to its conversion into a Common Unit pursuant to the terms hereof.
Common Unit has the meaning assigned to such term in the MLP Agreement.
Common Unit means each Partnership Unit that is not entitled to any preference with respect to any other Partnership Unit as to distribution or voluntary or involuntary liquidation, dissolution or winding up of the Partnership.
