Community Events definition

Community Events means those events where the general public is invited to attend and no entrance fee or participation fee is required.

Community Events means an event that is free to the general public.

Community Events means community, charitable and other public service Events that are unable to pay standard rental rates or facility charges or otherwise generate a profit but which are nevertheless desirable in light of the public purposes of the Civic Center.

More Definitions of Community Events

Community Events means events that are sponsored by public or private agencies or individuals that include but are not limited to fairs, bazaars, socials, picnics, parades and organized sporting events attended by 200 or more individuals per day.

Community Events means Events that are booked by, or for the benefit of, a non-profit or community-based organization.

Community Events means events approved by the City that do not generate user fee 22 revenue.

Community Events. Means free or lower admission cost events that are undertaken by FESTIVAL, in cooperation with the CITY, or any established community organization, in order to enhance public access to the Property consistent with FESTIVAL’S organizational goals of fulfilling educational, charitable, recreational and eleemosynary purposes. CITY acknowledges that FESTIVAL is not obligated to commit financial resources to Community Events, but will solicit sponsors or other organizations that will present and/or support Community Events.

Community Events shall have the meaning assigned to such term pursuant to Section 601 hereof.
