The Community Reinvestment Act is intended to encourage depository institutions to help meet the credit needs of the communities in which they operate, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods.
The Chairman of the Board or President of the Bank, whichever is not the Chief Executive Officer, shall be an ex officio member of the Community Reinvestment Act and Compliance Policy Committee.
The Community Reinvestment Act and Compliance Policy Committee shall consist of not fewer than four board members, one of whom shall be the Chief Executive Officer and a majority of whom are not officers of the Bank.
