Examples of Compensatory time off in a sentence
Compensatory time off will be earned on a time and one-half (1 1/2) basis.
Compensatory time off may be accumulated to a maximum of One Hundred Twenty- seven (127) hours.
Compensatory time off may not be scheduled in advance to be taken on holidays listed in Section 4.6, or on the Patrol Officer's Birthday Holiday listed in Section 4.6(a); however, the Shift Supervisor may approve a request for compensatory time off on a holiday once the shift on that holiday has begun if, in the sole discretion of Police Department management, it is determined that the Patrol Officer can use compensatory time off that shift without adversely affecting staffing levels.
Compensatory time off shall accrue at the rate of one and one-half (1½) times his regular straight-time hourly rate for each hour of overtime worked, up to the eighty (80) hour limit on accrual set forth above.
Compensatory time off in lieu of cash payment for overtime shall be granted at the rate of time and one-half, while compensatory time off which does not result from overtime shall be paid at the unit member's regular rate.
