Competition Event definition

Competition Event has the meaning given to it in clause 15.1(d) (Competition);
Competition Event means any act or activity by the Executive, directly or indirectly, which the Partnership deems, in its good faith judgment, to be a violation of Sections 4.1 and 4.2 hereof.
Competition Event means any non-racing test of driving skill in which finishing position is determined solely by the ability to execute the course in the shortest time. This includes such events as hill climbs, autocrosses, time trials, slaloms and gymkhanas, as well as practice and training sessions for such events. Wheel-to-wheel racing is not covered by the National insurance policy and is not permitted under any circumstances.

Examples of Competition Event in a sentence

  • The "Minimum Pit Stop Time" will be published in the Briefing Notes of each Competition Event.

  • A reserve car is a car that is not intended to take part in the Competition Event but to substitute for the one registered by the competitor as the principal race car.

  • The Organiser shall take care of full insurance coverage of its civil liability in connection with the organisation and staging of the Competition Event according to art.

Competition Event means the closing of an acquisition by Guarantor, directly or indirectly, of any entity or business that markets and/or sells digital advertising on a third party publisher digital platform that is a Material Supplier of the Acquired Companies as of the Closing Date in an location within the countries in which the Business operates as of the Closing (i.e., Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, India, Malaysia or Indonesia).

The Employee acknowledges that irreparable damage would occur in the event of a breach of the provisions of this Non-Compete Covenant by the Employee. It is accordingly agreed that, in addition to any other remedy to which it is entitled at law or in equity, the Company shall be entitled to an injunction or injunctions to prevent breaches of the provisions of this Non-Compete covenant and to enforce specifically the terms of such provisions. Competition Event means an Intervention by a Competition Authority or any Commitment which could prejudice the ability of: (i) the Franchisee to operate the Franchise in accordance with this Franchise Agreement; or (ii) any Affiliate of the Franchisee to continue to operate any other Rail Franchise of which it is the franchisee;
