Component Security definition

Component Security means with respect to an Index, each component security of that Index.

Component Security means each and any component security or asset of the Index.

Component Security means, in respect of a Multi-Exchange Index, each component security in such Index.

Examples of Component Security in a sentence

• Valuation Time: (i) For the purposes of determining whether a Market Disruption Event has occurred: (a) in respect of any Component Security, the Scheduled Closing Time on the Exchange in respect of such Component Security, and (b) in respect of any options contracts or future contracts on the Index, the close of trading on the Related Exchange; and (ii) in all other circumstances, the time at which the official closing level of the Index is calculated and published by the Index Sponsor.

• The Component Security will be held by the Custodian in the Margin Account.

• MULTIPLE EXCHANGE INDEX ANNEX Component Security: Each component security of the Index.

More Definitions of Component Security

Component Security means, in respect of an Index, any share or other component security included in such Index as determined by the Calculation Agent and related expressions shall be construed accordingly.

Component Security means, in respect of an Index, any shares, equity options or other component comprised in such Index. If the Index itself comprises or includes one or more other Indices, "Component" shall be read and construed as the relevant underlying shares, equity options or other components.
