Compulsory school age means the period of a child’s life from the time the child enters school, which may be no later than at the age of eight (8) years, until the age of 17 years or graduation from high school, whichever occurs first.
Pandemic Measures means any quarantine, “shelter in place,” “stay at home,” workforce reduction, social distancing, shut down, closure, sequester, immunization requirements, safety or similar Law, directive, guidelines or recommendations promulgated by any Governmental Authority, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization, in each case, in connection with or in response to a pandemic, including COVID-19.
Compulsory License means a compulsory license under the Licensed Patents obtained by a Third Party through the order, decree, or grant of a governmental authority of competent jurisdiction, authorizing such Third Party to manufacture, use, sell, offer for sale or import a Competitive Product in one or more countries within the Territory.
Compulsory-school-age child means a child who has attained or will attain the age of six (6) years on or before September 1 of the calendar year and who has not attained the age of seventeen (17) years on or before September 1 of the calendar year; and shall include any child who has attained or will attain the age of five (5) years on or before September 1 and has enrolled in a full-day public school kindergarten program. A child, five (5) years of age, who enrolls in public kindergarten, will have to abide by the same guidelines as outlined in the §37-13-91.
Measures means any measures proposed by the Supplier or any Sub-contractor within the meaning of regulation 13(2)(d) of TUPE;
COVID-19 Measures means any quarantine, “shelter in place”, “stay at home”, workforce reduction, social distancing, shut down, closure or sequester order, guideline, recommendation or Law, or any other applicable Laws, guidelines or recommendations by any Governmental Entity in connection with or in response to COVID-19.
Protective Measures means appropriate technical and organisational measures which may include: pseudonymising and encrypting Personal Data, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of systems and services, ensuring that availability of and access to Personal Data can be restored in a timely manner after an incident, and regularly assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of the such measures adopted by it;
Preventive measures means any reasonable measures taken by any person after an incident has occurred to prevent or minimize pollution damage.
Compulsory Acquisition means requisition for title or other compulsory acquisition, requisition, appropriation, expropriation, deprivation, forfeiture or confiscation for any reason of a Ship by any Government Entity or other competent authority, whether de jure or de facto, but shall exclude requisition for use or hire not involving requisition of title;
Compulsory arbitration means the procedure whereby parties involved in a labor dispute
Indigenous Peoples Safeguards means the principles and requirements set forth in Chapter V, Appendix 3, and Appendix 4 (as applicable) of the SPS;
Security Measures has the meaning given in Section 7.1.1 (Google’s Security Measures).
Supportive measures means individualized services that are offered to the complainant or the respondent designed to restore or preserve equal access to the District’s education program or activity without unreasonably burdening the other party. The supportive measures must be non-disciplinary and non-punitive in nature; offered before or after the filing of a formal complaint or where no formal complaint has been filed; and offered to either party as appropriate, as reasonably available, and without fee or charge. Examples of supportive measures include, but are not limited to: measures designed to protect the safety of all parties or the District’s educational environment, or deter sexual harassment; counseling; extensions of deadlines or other course-related adjustments; modifications of work or class schedules; campus escort services; mutual restrictions on contact between the parties; changes in work or class locations; leaves of absence; and increased security and monitoring of certain areas of the campus.
confiscation means a penalty or a measure, ordered by a court following proceedings in relation to a criminal offence or criminal offences resulting in the final deprivation of property;
Compulsory Documents means the list of compulsory schedules and documents set out in Part B.
reasonable measures means appropriate measures which are commensurate with the money laundering or terrorism financing risks;
Nationalisation means that all the Shares or all or substantially all the assets of the Share Company are nationalised, expropriated or otherwise required to be transferred to any governmental agency, authority, entity or instrumentality thereof.
Data Safeguards means the highest industry-standard safeguards (including administrative, physical, technical, and procedural safeguards) against the destruction, loss, misuse, unauthorized disclosure, or alteration of the JBE Data or Confidential Information, and such other related safeguards that are set forth in Applicable Laws, a Statement of Work, or pursuant to JBE policies or procedures.
Technological safeguards means the technology and the policy and procedures for use of the technology to protect and control access to personal information.
Expropriation ’ means the compulsory acquisition of property by an expropriating authority or an organ of state upon request to an expropriating authority, and ‘‘expropriate’’ has a corresponding meaning;
Mitigation Measures means “mitigation measures” as defined in subsection 2(1) of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, 2012.
the Measure means the Diocesan Boards of Education Measure 1991;
Corrective Measure The contractor shall repair any deficiencies to meet the performance guideline within warranty period.
Noise Control Measures means measures to reduce the noise emissions from the Facility and/or Equipment
Technical safeguards means the technology and the policy and procedures for its use that 27 protect electronic PHI and control access to it.
Nationalization means, in respect of a Share, that all such Shares or all the assets or substantially all the assets of the applicable Company are nationalized, expropriated or are otherwise required to be transferred to any governmental agency, authority or entity.
