Contactless Transactions means a transaction that is carried out by tapping your Card on the electronic terminal, if it is enabled to accept Contactless Transactions.
Contactless Transactions means any Transactions effected through contactless payment application (the availability of which is subject to the Bank and Card Association may from time to time determine) whether the same is authorised by the Cardholder or not (unless Clause 9 applies);

For Card Not Present Transactions and Contactless Transactions, you authorise us to debit or credit your Account, as the case may be, for the amount of the transaction and any other fee(s) imposed by the Merchant or other financial institution without the need for you to provide the PIN.
We and/or participating Merchants may establish maximum transaction limits from time to time for Contactless Transactions.
This Agreement applies to Contactless Transactions using the Debit Card, where applicable.
More Definitions of Contactless Transactions

Contactless Transactions refers to payment transactions performed using a contactless feature added to the Card that allows a Cardholder to make purchases or transactions at participating merchants that have an enabled reader without a PIN for an amount determined by the merchant, or the Bank, without having to enter or swipe the Card in point-of-sale equipment or automated banking machine (as applicable). This feature allows the Cardholder, for example, to simply “wave” the Card or, when possible, a Device for which the Card has been set up for Digital Wallet Service, in front of the point-of-sale equipment without having to sign a transaction slip or enter a PIN;
Contactless Transactions means small purchases paid for quickly and securely by waving your Debit Card over the Point of Sale (POS) terminals or holding it on the terminal, utilising chip technology at participating merchants which accept contactless payments.

Contactless Transactions means a card-present transaction within the RBC approved maximum thresholds conducted without the cardholder, nominee or authorised user swiping or inserting the card by (i) waving the Debit Card over the point-of-sale terminal (ii) or holding the Debit Card over the point-of-sale terminal or (iii) tapping the Debit Card on the point- of-sale terminal, utilising chip technology at participating Merchants which accept contactless payments.
