Contagion Event definition

Contagion Event means the outbreak and ongoing effects of a contagious disease, epidemic or pandemic (including COVID-19).
Contagion Event means the outbreak or continued presence of contagious disease, epidemic or pandemic (including SARS-CoV-2 or COVID-19, or any evolutions or mutations thereof, or any other viruses (including influenza)), and the governmental responses thereto.
Contagion Event means (a) the outbreak of a contagious disease, epidemic or pandemic (including COVID-19) or the continuation, escalation or material worsening thereof and (b) any changes in applicable Law or other directive, policy, guidance or recommendations by any Governmental Authority in response to the foregoing, in each case, whether in place currently or adopted or modified hereafter, including any quarantine, “shelter in place,” “stay at home,” workforce reduction, social distancing, shut down, closure or sequester.

Examples of Contagion Event in a sentence

  • No third-party counterparty to any Company Material Contract has exercised or threatened in writing to exercise any force majeure (or similar) provision to excuse nonperformance or performance delays in any Company Material Contract as a result of a Contagion Event or the Contagion Event Measures.

  • During any visit by the Company or Parent to the business or property sites of the other party or any of its respective Subsidiaries, the Company or Parent, as applicable, shall, and shall cause their respective Representatives accessing such properties to, comply with all applicable Laws and all of the other party’s and its respective Subsidiaries’, as applicable, safety and security procedures, including those related to a Contagion Event.
