Contract Energy definition

Contract Energy means Energy associated with or provided or to be provided from the Contract Capacity, but excluding Storage Energy.
Contract Energy means the Energy to be provided by Seller under a PPA, and which is provided to be the Energy associated with or provided or to be provided from the Contract Capacity.
Contract Energy shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.1 hereof.

Examples of Contract Energy in a sentence

  • In the case of a Buyer curtailment pursuant to clause (ii) above, Buyer shall be deemed to have curtailed the Contract Energy, if any, that, according to the dispatch instructions from MISO resulting from implementing Buyer’s offer instructions to Seller, should not have been generated by the Facility and injected at the Injection Point during such MISO Settlement Interval.

  • The Variable Payment (although calculated according to the Delivered Energy) includes all compensation to Seller for the purchase of all Contract Capacity, Contract Energy (except as otherwise provided in Section 4.7 or Section 7.4(c)(ii)), Capacity-Related Benefits (including any ZRCs, other capacity credits and similar rights and benefits), Environmental Attributes and Other Electric Products, and no other or further amount shall be payable by Buyer in connection with such Products.

  • Without limiting the foregoing, absent a Unit Contingency, Seller shall not interrupt, curtail or otherwise reduce the availability or deliveries of Contract Energy for which the LMP exceeds the Minimum Market Price in either MISO Market, regardless of prices or other economic conditions at the Electric Interconnection Point or Injection Point.

Contract Energy means the quantity of electrical energy in kWh, being:
Contract Energy means the Energy Bid for each Contract Year during the Term, assuming no material variability in monthly generation and delivery and applying a reasonable factor for transmission losses up to the Delivery Point based on data compiled prior to the Early Termination Date. Where applicable, the Energy Bid will be prorated for any portion of a Contract Year.
Contract Energy means the amount of electrical energy associated with the Contract Capacity expressed in MWh, as measured by the Metering Equipment, that Seller agrees to sell and deliver, or cause to be delivered to Purchaser, and Purchaser agrees to purchase and receive from Seller, under this Agreement, subject to the nomination and dispatch mechanics in Article 6.
